Colonsay Lamp Base

Presenting our hardwood Colonsay lamp base range. 

The isles of Colonsay & Oransay form part of the Hebrides, situated off the west coast of Scotland. Neatly sandwiched between Mull to the north and Islay & Jura to the south they can offer amazing sandy beaches, outstanding scenery, rocky shorelines, shimmering lochs, rolling machair, stunning flora, sunsets and history & heritage in spades!

All our hardwood Colonsay lamp bases (measuring 42.5cm tall x 14cm diameter base) have been hand-turned, hand-painted and assembled in our studio in East Lothian, Scotland.

We have chosen to finish each lamp base with an ancient organic paint, environmentally friendly, non-toxic, low odour, containing no chemicals, preservatives fungicides or petroleum derivatives.

All our lamp bases have been wired with a UK standard plug and B22 Switched Lampholder. When using our lamp bases we recommend using a short B22 4W/470lm LED bayonet bulb. All our lamp bases have passed a Portable Appliance Test (PAT).
